California-based mortgage lender, Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, Inc., is expanding PRMG University with the addition of Richard Kuan as their new National Trainer.
Kuan earned a Master’s Degree in Leadership & Organizational Studies at Azusa Pacific University in 2006 and started his career in learning & development as a National Trainer for Wells Fargo, GP Strategies, Intelliloan and Planet Home Lending. In his new role as National Trainer, he will be managing the national training for over 110 of PRMG’s branches within all three business channels; Retail Origination, Third-Party Origination and Correspondent Lending.
Aside from his experience in learning and development, Richard has held various leadership roles including President and Senior Vice President with managing mortgage banking firms since 1988. He has had a career full of many achievements including being named #36 amongst the top 50 Loan Originators in the nation and funding over 71 million in closed loan volume in 2001. In 1998, he also served as the Director for Housing by Education on the 37th Congressional District Legislative Advisory Council for growth in Economic Housing under former Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald and the Planning Commission Commissioner for the City of Lynwood, CA until 1996.
Richard has had the opportunity to experience many different real estate markets throughout his career bringing a plethora of knowledge and a unique skill set that allows him to not only understand, but work and communicate with everyone from baby-boomers to millennials.
