New East Coast PRMG Retail Branch Opens in North Smithfield, RI!

California-based mortgage lender, Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, Inc. (PRMG), is expanding its East Coast region by opening their new retail location at 11 Main Street, Unit 2B, North Smithfield, RI 02896.

The newest location will be managed by, Branch Sales Manager, Michael Dutra, who has a very successful 13 years in the mortgage industry. Much of his industry experience, prior to PRMG, was spent at CBC Real Estate, Central Building Cooperative Inc., and Atlantic Home Loans.

Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Dutra moved to New York as a child where he graduated from Averill Park High School. He began to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Albany, but two years later decided to put college on hold to enlist in the United States Marine Corps where he served as a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Defense Specialist with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Marine Divisions. In 2005 he returned to college and completed with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, with honors, at Rhode Island College.

Soon after, he began his professional career with his father at Franchise Business Brokers Inc. until moving on to become a Mortgage Advisor in 2006. He learned quickly and worked hard to give his clients the greatest opportunities for success in their Real Estate endeavors. In 2014 Dutra and his comrades opened CBC where they put in numerous hours of overtime to make sure their endeavor remained successful to this day.

Now by joining PRMG, he can best serve Mortgage Bankers and their families. It’s important to him that his career is one where he can support his family by helping others purchase their dream home or refinance to accomplish financial milestones. He always works with the goal in mind of advising clients how to build financial freedom through Real Estate.

Dutra says, “I believe the greatest part of my work is that I can be myself: a normal guy with the talent and skill that allows me to help others while creating life-long relationships.”

Michael Dutra will report directly to, Regional Manager, Ryan Goldsmith and will have the full support of PRMG SVP, Director of National Retail Production; Chris Sorensen.
