California-based mortgage lender, Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, Inc. (PRMG) has been selected as one of NAMMBA’s 2018 Best Places to Work for Women and Minorities in the Mortgage Industry!
“This award is given to companies who achieve results in NAMMBA’s objective and subjective criteria. This award recognizes companies who have demonstrated their commitment to diversity and inclusion on numerous levels”, said Tony Thompson, CMB, Founder and CEO of NAMMBA.
The National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA) is a national trade association dedicated to the enrichment and betterment of minorities and women who work in the mortgage industry. NAMMBA’s mission is to increase the engagement of minorities and women in the Mortgage Banking Industry at the local, state and national level.
PRMG has been providing opportunities for growth and enrichment to its employees since it first opened its doors. Most recently, PRMG held its Inaugural Women Advisory Council Meeting. Christine Beckwith was the first speaker and holds the position of acting chairperson for the committee. The goal of the council is to provide a forum to kickstart careers, remove barriers and make progress together. In addition, several of PRMG’s Top Producers and Senior Management team are women and minorities, who all contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the company.
“I’ve been working in the mortgage industry for the past 14 years and by far PRMG has been the best lender/company I’ve ever worked for. No other lender can compare to the platform and support we have with PRMG. Management/Owners are always looking and making sure PRMG is on top of their game! I wouldn’t trade my job for any other lender!'“, said Myriam Castillo-Hernandez, PRMG Loan Officer and President’s Cabinet Member.
“PRMG has been rooted deeply in communities that serve minorities since its inception. Our co-founder and CEO Paul Rozo is of Colombian descent. With a strong corporate value system of faith, family and servitude PRMG has found a perfect match in the entire mission of NAMMBA. We are proud to be a national sponsor that walks the walk of promoting diversity and inclusion.”, said Kevin Peranio, Chief Lending Officer.
PRMG is proud to be awarded this accolade and looks forward to continuing improving for diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
